I've never once seen an IR on my plasma the 508XDA ( 508XG) nor my cousin on his LX508

guys I think I'm missing something here so pls educate me on this. Can I know what makes the current gen of Pana plasma still attractive given it has the floating black issue ?

from what i understand, the black level rises gradually and settles in at around 1k hours at which point apparently the black level appear no longer black but more grey-ish .
