Ok, this game cough my attention as it has cartoonish animation & bright colours like TF 2.
Has several class to play just like TF2 & BC2. Worth taking a look:

@Trapper:



Armed with a powerful hunting rifle, the Trapper is a master of long range sniping.
- Long range and very high damage.
- Uses bear traps to immobilize enemies.

@Deputy



An expert at delivering high volumes of accurate fire, the deputy is deadliest at medium to long range where he can make good use of his repeater carbine.
- Main weapon is a repeater carbine, effective at medium to long range.
- Tagging trait. The player can tag enemies as targets, providing valuable recon and support for his gang.
- Radiates the Damage synergy effect.

@Gun Slinger



The Gunslinger’s speed loading large caliber revolver is most effective at close to medium range. He is proficient in fanning, a shooting technique that increases rate of fire at the cost of reduced accuracy.
- Armed with a versatile heavy revolver.
- Remarkable rate of fire due to his fanning technique.
- Radiates the Accuracy synergy effect.


@Blaster



The blaster wields devastating short range firepower with his double barreled shotgun but is ineffective at long range.
- Carries a double barreled shotgun, extremely effective at short range.
- Throws dynamite sticks, the wild west version of the hand grenade.
- Radiates the Accuracy synergy effect.

each of this class has their own strength and weaknesses.

the only let down it does't have a dedicated server support at the moment

it using the old fashion way of client side hosting, which the player who host the game must play. and when the host decided to leave the game. then everyone else get disconnected

i had noticed this game over the weekend as there is a pre-order sale at Steam. i was really looking forward to a Wild West shoot-out but having no dedicated server is a big minus.

and it using matchmaking system to join game.

might buy it and try out the beta this week, hopefully there will be australian server to join

Dont think mid-rigs can run this. On the other hand, TF2 can run on almost any rig.

One thing that I find that's lacking in L&G is that, the classes doesnt seem to have enough utility skills. I've only seen the Trapper aka snipper to have bear traps which can be really useful.

Seems to be good but then we're lacking of Dedicated Servers , otherwise I dont mind setting it up and getting it to work. I'll get it whenever steam is having promotion

Problem with this kind of games , is that you need to have kakis , if nobody owns it and only a handful , its going to die nevertheless.

Its a source-based game , I mean it uses source engine. If your laptop can handle TF2 or any other source based game , it will work. Its based on the same engine

baught this game for my self and a friend i think i read the forums that there is a dedicated server out already not sure about that and its currently

the problem is most of those servers in US and UK....no dedicated server around oceanic yet....i am waiting for AUS server.....

Dont confuse , linux does not need graphics. Basically we dont need anything , we can output it to "null" which kinda sucks as he does not get to know whats going on. If you really want to get it done , then sure its possible

I check at steam stat, only about 100-200 player. Will you all have lag less game when play with other ppl?

well we were playing within malaysia that day and all of us were lagging.. i had 350+ms ping but mrhulk and his shotgun is ghey!

wow, just started up the server and it used up 50% of the CPU cycle before crashing. looks like Fatshark need to work on some optimization patch soon..

i think there's a dedi server at thailand..the ping that i get is 92..the lowest i can find..anyone up for a game?

i see 2-3 server with acceptable lag last night, i cant wait to test that thailand server.

play on cybergame-thailand server no lag at all, good ping around 80-90ms

i tested just now, on server browser ping show below 150ms

but when i get into the server i get constant ping over 500ms

are you hosting on unifi or streamyx? if yes what the upload rate?

@alex82: i'm using streamyx 2mb so the upload rate would be 1/3 of it, i guess but i'm not sure.. if you don't mind, may i know where is your location because helldagger got a ping of 47. also can you post a screenshot of high ping in-game and server browser?

@alex82: that is quite high! how is the gameplay at 727 ping? but as i mentioned in this thread earlier, the dedi server still needs some polishing with regards to efficiency. fingers crossed that Fatshark will give this high priority.

yep it high for no reason, not sure about the gameplay coz im the only one in the server, can't really test it out.

lowest ping ingame was about 300+ for me, when it spike it can reach until 900+ms

@alex82: i don't think it's connection problem because sometimes when i host killing floor server and there are players as far as the Philippines/taiwan playing w/o any problems.

see if you can play with some of the kakis here and see how it affects your gameplay..

Lanux..even though i got low ping ( a bit erratic as at times when i refresh it would be 40-50, but sometimes it would go up to 130++...hurm however my complaint is this..even tho i got such a low ping( im in KL)..i cant join your server..

@helldagger: what is the error that appears when you can't join the server? can you post a screenie?

i'm not sure why the ping is erratic, hopefully the Fatshark forums will have some clues. i'll check in there..

my lappy is kiinda weird...even if i press prntscr button, it only print my windows screen, not the game screen even tho im inside the game..but i will try again later...

i've been looking at the LnG support forums but can't find a reason other than that the dedi server is not optimised.

e.g in this thread, several gamers claim a spike in their ping but there are no solutions forwarded by the devs.

Until they fix their dedicated server, it is hard to get good game without lag or spike even you have enough local players. Shoud you buy this game? if you dont mind waiting for them to fix the dedicated server, it is a good game to buy.

i have tried the thai server...it is smooth, but empty...lol...in my server browser, it shows 4 players in the server....
