there are two azn servers - thai and the japan and one aus server. there's one uk server with ping <200 that playable.

i tested just now, on server browser ping show below 150ms

but when i get into the server i get constant ping over 500ms

are you hosting on unifi or streamyx? if yes what the upload rate?

@alex82: i'm using streamyx 2mb so the upload rate would be 1/3 of it, i guess but i'm not sure.. if you don't mind, may i know where is your location because helldagger got a ping of 47. also can you post a screenshot of high ping in-game and server browser?

@alex82: that is quite high! how is the gameplay at 727 ping? but as i mentioned in this thread earlier, the dedi server still needs some polishing with regards to efficiency. fingers crossed that Fatshark will give this high priority.

yep it high for no reason, not sure about the gameplay coz im the only one in the server, can't really test it out.

lowest ping ingame was about 300+ for me, when it spike it can reach until 900+ms

@alex82: i don't think it's connection problem because sometimes when i host killing floor server and there are players as far as the Philippines/taiwan playing w/o any problems.

see if you can play with some of the kakis here and see how it affects your gameplay..

Lanux..even though i got low ping ( a bit erratic as at times when i refresh it would be 40-50, but sometimes it would go up to 130++...hurm however my complaint is this..even tho i got such a low ping( im in KL)..i cant join your server..

@helldagger: what is the error that appears when you can't join the server? can you post a screenie?

i'm not sure why the ping is erratic, hopefully the Fatshark forums will have some clues. i'll check in there..

my lappy is kiinda weird...even if i press prntscr button, it only print my windows screen, not the game screen even tho im inside the game..but i will try again later...

i've been looking at the LnG support forums but can't find a reason other than that the dedi server is not optimised.

e.g in this thread, several gamers claim a spike in their ping but there are no solutions forwarded by the devs.

Until they fix their dedicated server, it is hard to get good game without lag or spike even you have enough local players. Shoud you buy this game? if you dont mind waiting for them to fix the dedicated server, it is a good game to buy.

i have tried the thai server...it is smooth, but empty...lol...in my server browser, it shows 4 players in the server....

Whats the lowest ping you played on? and max player for a sever is 8 ppl only?
