BUT, if u tink that it is worth it,by all means, go for it...after all, they still provide warranty rite?..then i guess the warranty should cover any risk of fault with it...hopefully the warranty is 3 years..

if the ram is DDR2, like the acer 4551..then i would suggest going for 3gb (buy another 2 gb..costing around 180++)...and u wun have to worry about ram bottleneck..or u just will get a sense of satisfaction that ur lappie isw pumped with RAM and would last u quite long...

If it is ddr3.like the toshiba...maybe u can try the stock 1gb first..and wait out for attractive price cut of the ddr3 ram..

otherwise,just go for 2GB (add 1 gb) for the ddr3 first and then add summore if not happy with it..

yeap..this idea's gud too..and remember to install a 64-bit OS in it too..

not reli..i'm using 32 bit on my desktop..although i got a copy of the 64-bit os..

get the 4741g better..there's some cases of the 4740g battery not able to be fully charged..

more like for sow only..seldom people would use it..let's say if u use ur thumbprint..and then if u happen to get a cut on it, it would not read..
