 Playing movie on a notebook but watching it on LCD, got pic but no audio

I connect my notebook to my LCD to watch video but the sound only comes from my notebook. how to make the audio come from the build in LCD TV?

i did the same thing connect my notebook to my LCD thru HDMI cable..so far no problem..
but u need to do GFX setting on ur lappie to match Res of ur LCD..
output pic on LCD might turn out to be abit blurry..but still ok laugh.gif

i only use vga cable. so i nid to get hdmi cable?

If you connect the speaker jack to your lappy, your sound so should be out to speaker..

yess..if u connect using VGA, u also need to connect the speaker line
meanwhile, HDMI cable already include speaker line within the cable
hope u can understand and manage to solve ur prob

before getting HDMI cable make sure ur notebook do have HDMI output connector biggrin.gif

VGA = Video Graphics Array.

Simply put, it only transports images, not sound. If you want sound use the speaker out (the green connector).

If you have HDMI and wants to use HDMI cable, make sure to select the default output to HDMI before playing the vid otherwise it will just output normally using laptop's speaker (or speaker out).

ic... got the lcd from company lucky draw thumbup.gif so gonna use it as my lcd/monitor
