Im stucked with edu (discovery...) for my bro, news (dad n me) and some box office channel (which is a total waste of my time)

I feel Astro pricing are very unfair... Rather than offering everything on a package basis, they should allow customers to choose what channels they want... That way, the least popular channels can be chopped off and that will allow Astro to reduce their cost... Somehow I got a feeling, despite IPTV coming on the scene, they'll continue to be stubborn...

Another irresponsible act by the government... I understand the importance of protectionism, but to "over-protect", that's going over board... Protectionism is meant to protect local industries and businesses... Too much of it, you'll have a monopoly, and having a monopoly problem, reduces the amount of money that goes back into the public... Also, there's a lack of competition, it doesn't encourage business growth at all and does create a "complacent" attitude... lol!

Protectionism is actually common place in Asia, even in South Korea and Japan during formative years of their economy.........it is rather more of a management issue.

Japan, you have the Zaibatsu.

South Korea, you have Chaebol.

On economy, EU (the Greece issue) and UK (high deficit and weakening pound) are the main issues for this year.

but yea, i got headache because of the table light... =S cause in my friend's house, most parts in my place got no electricity, and my friend's house don't have electricity as well, but only the plug got electricity =S kinda headache~ so got to go now~ see ya~ hugs*
