plan to go there,

please enlighten me of certain issue

1) ticket pricing rclxub.gif
- is it in sgd or usd?
- when it stated two consecutive days for the combo tix, that mean 1 day for USS and another day for aquaria? as if i buy USS 2 days pass, i can enter USS for 2 days but if i buy combo, i can only go there for 1 day?
- prefer to have ultimate express pass, but stated it is starting from $30, what does it mean?

2)transportation
- can i just come from jb and directly going to USS, something like shuttle or something?
or i need to go to a place in sg before waiting a shuttle or bus, or cab, or anything?

3) accomodation
-previously thought wanna stay there, in sg, as i browsed through booking.com for my price range, all look shocking.gif
to increase the budget doesn't seem worth it, jalan2...come back and sleep, don't wanna waste 1000 just for that
-it is recommended to stay in jb, and taking transportation to sg?

thank you notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Ticket prices is in SGD, around 60++ usually considered a good deal. Express pass depends on season, but min rate is 30. Go there on a weekday, you won't even need express pass.

Better if can stay in SG, look for budget hotels in novena/balestier or even hostels in little India etc

Do note that you have to pay to enter sentosa island. RWS do have shuttle for free entry but only applicable to certain hotel guest.

Good, i thought usd laugh.gif worrying abit cause wanna visit aquaria too....

One day is enough?

How much need to pay to enter the island?

laugh.gif actually usd is cheaper than sgd. RM1 = 0.30usd but 0.38sgd

if you want to play all the games and experience all the shows, one day is only enough to cover USS

if you're on a budget, best to book in advance for tunes hotel at danga bay JB. it provides bus shuttle to uss.
*
hah, isn't it 1sgd=2.6rm, how much usd now? shocking.gif

ok, so need two days in sg, 1st day for uss, 2bd for aquaria

aquaria is located nearby to the USS right?

it depends la. I finished USS within like 3 hours, skipped those common rides like those cups thingy and rest of the ordinary rides that can be found at other theme parks. I went there during off peak and drizzling weather, so literally zero queues on every ride. tongue.gif

Yup, aquaria is on sentosa island.

4D3N to be safe. 1st day arrive soak up to the atmosphere, 2nd day full USS(if going during peak season), 3rd day aquarium and prolly spent some time in the island and 4th day to pack up stuff and leave.
*
3hours only? doh.gif i thought it is pretty big, no?

maybe i'll stay at tune hotel, as i'll be driving to jb, so need to take shuttle

i am not a gaming guy hence i only played jurassic park, the q is long so it is 45min q + 10-15min ride.

however many good shows to recommend:-

Monster Rock™ at Pantages Hollywood Theatre™ -> nice pop musical show
Lights, Camera, Action!™ Hosted by Steven Spielberg -> eyes opener on how a movie is made
WaterWorld™ -> entertaining and fun
Shrek 4-D Adventure -> i like 4d movie
STREET ENTERTAINMENT -> lovely oldies/ hip hop dancing depends on which streets u r

for me about 6 hours there

** also got fireworks On Saturdays and selected holidays

but USS have one of the best roller coaster in SEA sad.gif battlestar galactica. revenge of the mummy is not bad too, a wilder version of the transformers ride.

anyway he highlighted the important ones already.  wink.gif

I think if the main reason for your trip to SG is USS, but at the same time you prefer to stay near the CBD, then pick one of the hotels that have free shuttle to RWS.
http://www.rwsentosa.com/Portals/0/RWS%20R...MarinaRoute.pdf

one of the cheapest hotels is carlton, around 200SGD ish per night. if you bringing your waifu along then prolly she might want to explore the shopping districts, so yeah. smile.gif sentosa is really isolated.
*
sweat.gif my wife is kinda adventures, hopefully she won't ask me to ride the roller coaster laugh.gif

anyway thank you so much bro for the guidance, really appreciate it notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

I stayed in Festive hotel last year at the family room. Nice room, but it's a big very impersonal hotel. Not exactly my liking but it's very convenient obviously. It's probably one of the cheaper hotels in Sentosa too.

About your coaster question, USS has Battlestar Galactica which is one of the best roller coasters around particularly Cylon but it's been closed for 6 months already. Next best is the Mummy ride which isn't technically a coaster but lots of fun anyway.
*
it is convenient as it located near to USS and aquaria but not much on other attraction right?
