i just got my salary.and planning to buy another console or handheld.

so far i already own ps1,ps2,psp1000,gameboy,gameboy advance sp,nintendo ds lite,xbox 360 elite.

what should i get ?first thing that in my mind was getting a

1)psp 3k (white),looks nice and better improvement
2)nintendo ds xl/ll ..big screen
3)ps3..free online
4)wii..looks fun but the game much to kids.

but im afraid that handhelds like psp and nintendo ds will get redesign/new feature every year ..so im not sure whther to get it now or wait ..

for ps3.many xclusive ps3 game has been released.but i think if i wnt to buy ps3 maybe wait till end of the year to play fifa2011 or wait for kh3.besides i already own xbox360.most of the game are multiplatform

so i want your suggestion on this.thanks

estimated price is around ?rm 800 ? ?2 wii remote + 2 nunchuck = rm 1000+.seems like a good price

and i just check gamespot,it got trauma center game.looks fun

console much better, handheld game are too short but some of them are addicting

after thinking bout it.

i already owned psp 1k and it still works fine.i don't think buying psp 3k is a good buy unless i got many money.

And before you buy a Wii, a word of advice: Avoid modded Wiis. The sellers will try to push one to you on the grounds that it can run *cough*ahem* games (if he wants to hide it, he will say that it will make it region-free), but the drawbacks:
- Going online is risky: If you go online, the Wii may autoupdate and updating a modded Wii will cause it to "brick" itself (in layman terms, cause the wii to commit suicide). No online? Can, but where's the fun if you cannot play with your buddies online, send messages to your friends, watch the Nintendo channel, surf the net with the Internet Channel, talk to friends on the Wii Speak channel or buy games from the Wii Shop?
- Using ori discs is risky: Popping in a ori disc and making a wrong choice when starting the game may make the Wii update. And as mentioned above, updating a modded Wii using an ori disc is a very bad idea.
- Cannot update from System Menu. Why? See the last two reasons I gave.
- Missing channels that costs $$$ to add back.

So yeah. You're better off with an official Wii. Official Wii sold in Malaysia is NTSC/UC (North America) version, so no worries about language barrier.

Also, since you already own PSP1K, just cross out PSP3K and add a 16GB or 32GB MS Duo to your list. It's worth it. I gave my PSP3K a 16GB MS Duo. I can download and install demos and full games from the PSN store

what if play modded wii using ahem disc ?still can brick?

hurm.as far as i know.all shop near my house nver sell original wii.bcause i din't see any original game for wii.only ps3 and xbox

If you try to play ahem disc incorrectly, general answer is yes. I cannot confirm it tho, since my Wii is unmodded US set.

Check the Garage Sales section of the Console Couch forum. You can usually source from there.

PSP 1K/2K is not cheap. Shops I go to want RM1000++ for one just because it can be modded to play *ahem*. 3K however, I got one for only around RM450 from Amazon because they were having a promotion for Hannah Montana bundle. Even after VPost it's only around RM550

And oh, Wii Motion Plus is a add-on dongle for the Wii remote to improve it's motion detection. Wii remote is the controller for Wii.

for now just ignore the motion plus...not many games really utilized it's capability rite now.

Depends on whether:
1. are you travelling a lot or not? If yes, Handhelds are for you.
- my choice is PSP here. It has lots of almost console-quality games like
Monster Hunter, Tekken, Final Fantasy Dissidia, Crisis Core, Megaman, DJ Max etc etc.

2. for consoles, depends:
- want cheap, Wii and X360.
- free online, PS3.

Ultimately, it still comes down to the games. So make your choices on which games you want to play more.

btw,i already mentioned that i already hve psp 1k,ndsl,xbox360,ps1,ps2,gba sp.and im not into travelling .

i won't get ps3 for now bcause most of the game is same with xbox 360,if i wnt to buy ps3,maybe end of this year when fifa11 released or kh3.

i just sold my ndsl today.for rm 350.do u think its good price ?
i bought it rm 650 1+ years ago.now new set only rm 400+.
and the ndsl,it has low battery life

so my choice now is whether to buy

for me i prefer dsi xl for the bigger screen but the price is waaaayy to expensive,for me its not reasonable for handheld like that to be priced at rm almost 1k.even psp with better graphic is only rm 700-800.

as for the ds...depends..if u really like the big one..then go for it...but i personally think for that size it is not so portable anymore. Besides, the game resolution doesn't hv any improvement at all..better the DSi.
