Hi All,
Tried searching the forum on this but no joy..if it's already been discussed, appreciate the link..
Problem is when I forward my emails that has pictures/attachments, the recipient only gets the text..no pictures..just a blue box with a small question mark..I've also searched other relevant forums, apparently other users are facing this too..but can't find the solution..Anyone else facing this problem?Any solutions?Btw I'm using a Gmail account..
Thanks in advance...

Rgds

Here is what going to happen. Instead of leaving this thread on the main page, so that people that come in into Iphone page might somehow know how to solve your problem post to answer your question, mod going to come and close this thread, while asking you to ask in the thread where all people come in and ask their question.

But here is the catch, that thread is full with question and rarely get answered, because once you post, someone else has post their question on top of it, leaving your question to the previous page and unanswered.

Efficient, isn't it? You gotta love the system.

i do love the system

i would prefer the first method, rather than having threads cluttering the entire sub-forum.

on most occasions, new threads which are being opened, are typically the redundant ones (of course humans are not perfect, and hence some may slip through)

furthermore, helping people in this forum is based on pro bono basis and voluntary.

apple and maxis (if you got yours from them) existed for a reason; you paid them for technical support. besides, if you feel that you deserve a more personalised help, pay someone for it.

opening sporadic threads in this sub-forum is just plain selfish, in my humble opinion (sorry TS, but i'm not hinting this at you. i do apologise in advance)

FYI, the Finance, Business and Investment House works on the same, alleged 'system' too, i.e. posts that resemble more or less the criteria needed will be moved to a suitable thread (again, of course humans are not perfect, and hence some may slip through)

I believe you need to download the files before you reattached it to other people

my 2 cents: TS, are you using the built in email app? Perhaps you could try Safari -> login to gmail as per normal -> try and forward from there.

I know this is not solving the issue, but it's a quick fix if you are on the go and have to forward something urgently.

Hope that helps.

Firstly,my sincere apologies for posting in the wrong section..didn't mean to stir things up in this wonderful forum..
To all who hv responded, thanks for all the advice..
Yes,I'm using the built in email app in the iPhone..FYI,when I fwd those emails, the option to include attachments pops up and I selected "include".
Funny thing is,when I fwd it to myself and open the email on the iPhone, the pictures are there..when I open on the PC or Mac,no pictures..

The pictures are jpg files...other attachments like .doc,.xls,pdf..no problem

Lastly,mods..appreciate u move this thread to the appropriate section.

Rgds...

You can actually attach images taken through the album in your iPhone.
Attachment of other files are not allowed.

As for forwarding emails, you can forward in the iPhone mail.
