Today’s reserve friendly
It ended all square today in the friendly between City and Bristol Rovers with boss Dave Jones giving youth and experience to run-out. Both Kevin McNaughton and Ross McCormack to part in the game which finished 1-1 City losing to a late penalty but there was no sign of Warren Feeney. They both came through unscathed but didn’t play a full game and should be ready to play some part in the Palace game Saturday.

McCormack had a lively game and could well have score coming close on a number of occasions as Cardiff took control for most of the game with Cardiff keeper Peter Enckelman having little to do. McCormack played 75 minutes of the game and wanted to play the full 90 minutes.

City had a few chance before Miguel Comminges open the scoring, he and Solomon Taiwo played a one two with Comminges slotting the ball past the Rovers keeper in the 21st minute. With Cardiff looking the better team it was a surprise there were no more goals it was not for the chances has Cardiff put pressure on the Rovers goal forcing the keeper to make some fine saves. There were six chances throughout the game Riccy Scimeca also had run-out before being subbed.
