i recently bought samsung bx2450 monitor (full HD), which has two hdmi ports. I plug in one for my PC, while another for PS3. it has audio out as well, so that I can use my headphone for PS3.

I turn on the PS3, the menu looks fine and sharp. However, when I start a game, Red Dead Redemption for example, the resolution seems to be lower than 1080, and looks fuzzy.

Anyone knows how I can make the game resolution sharper? At the display setting menu, I've select 1080p. Thanks.

if 1080 oso fuzzy, means its the game itself.

ok. i went to check again, when i start the PS3 menu, it will display at 1080 resolution. Once I loaded in the game, example RDR, it will change the resolution to 720, which makes it very fuzzy, and jagged at the edges. So for this, i think it's due to the supported HD video output, which is only up to 720p.

Then i load NBA2K11, which can goes up to 1080, when the game loaded, the resolution will only load 720p, although my monitor is fullHD. is there anyway to set the game's resolution to 1080? In the graphic setting I've choose all resolution, and it can go up to 1080p, on the PS3 menu screen.
