I heard IPS panel not very PS3 friendly. Is that true?
Currently am using 19" (most prolly 20") dell ultrasharp monitor that I bought many years back for rm1600++. I am looking for larger screen prolly 24" would be just fine but what I noticed most monitors that priced rm700 and below do not have the features that i fancy like the dell that i use now. I fancy height, tilt, swivel adjustment. I fancy wall-mounted ready. I fancy HDMI. I fancy full HD. But none seem to give me all that. Well except for those that priced rm1k and above. Thats why until now, I have not buy new screen. Maybe i should spend rm1600 then i could find a screen with the features i fancy.

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Sep 6 2011, 07:45 PM) IPS isn't very well suited for games in general due to slow response time and potential input lag. But it's hard to switch to TN panels if you are used to IPS due to its superior display. There's a Dell Ultrasharp 22" model available, with the same mount as yours. And the biggest attraction is the RM609 price tag. The only thing missing is HDMI port, but you can always use DVI instead like what you are using now. I see. Where to check the input speed in the spec (or it is not mentioned)? Or is it the response time? Am wondering why most recent monitors are not included with HDMI? I thought HDMI is somewhat "compulsary"?

From my brief observation, the video quality of the toshiba 24" is just average. But again, for that price, it is a bargain. I was tempted to get one but i think I want to get models with >100Hz to see if it is really "flawless" or not.

QUOTE(writeprotect @ Sep 20 2011, 01:08 PM) but i think better get the ps3 sound bar first before getting this headset... hehe But the soundbar is expensive. I can get myself a sony 5.1 home theater system for less of the price.

QUOTE(WilliamG @ Oct 3 2011, 12:39 PM) Noruazumi. I've tried playing NBA2K11 ps 3 using HX series 800 motion flow if im correct...it seems ....laggy in some way cuz of 800 might be too much for the game i think haha. But when play it with 200 motion flow its nice and smooth You might be right. My friend at Sony told me that high fps might not be a good idea. At 200Hz it should be fine. Mine only at 60Hz. I saw at Sony Style shop they are using NX series and put on Fight Night. The graphic is sooooo good and sharp. Prolly the game comes with 1080. Btw, my friend also told me that Sony will comw out with 480Hz tv. Not sure when but they already got the pre-production unit in their office for testing.
