You missed one more item. There are differences between 3D-Ready TV and 3D-integrated TV. If ur TV is 3D-ready, yes you can watch 3D blueray on it but only if you have the 3D transmitter. Usually it is sold separately. It's common with Sony brand. I guess it's the same with other brand.

Yup PS3 via latest firmware update now can play 3D BD ady. But if you can afford to have the Sony BD Player, there's this one function which is called HD Upscale which function is to virtually convert any DVD disc to a Full HD pictars.

i dont think u can improve ps1/2 image dat much by changing ur lcd bro. maybe if you could get a not-too-big lcd, the image wouldn't be stretched up dat much..

you won't really notice any difference literally. LCD with <15ms is good enough for gaming.

yeah PS3 do support HDMI v1.4a via firmware upgrade. If you have a 3D TV, just invest a lil bit more to make things work as they should. I have one extra Sony 3D HDMI cable. Interested?

i have extra la bro. Don't need one currently. You sure real v1.4 or not? afraid when the cable reach here, it's the normal HDMI. My friends some kna tipu also, standard HDMI is sold as v1.4a HDMI. People want money ma, anything can happen.

if your current tv produces fantastic images on the screen with your current cable, why need to change it? if you have extra cash to spend, why not? some would say no difference, some say it does make a difference.
