Hey guys, how come when I play battlefront on ps2 on my samsung hd tv looks worse than I play it on my old sony sd tv?

The samsung one I bought last year around october, whilst the sony sd tv I bought back in 08 but sadly it broke last year and got replaced by the samsung hd tv. I play ps2 exclusively for battlefront only as my ps3 has no backwards compatibility and I don't know where to find ori copies of the game.

Yes I'm using the standard red, yellow & white cable. oh figures, well i did some personal research and they said I have to change my ps2 settings to fit the hdtv? Worth a try.
