Better wait a bit more.. in 2 to 3 more months, you will see the LED type of TV price drop to the same as the LCD TV that you will be paying for now.

The latest fad is 3D LED HDTVs. Manufacturers are ramping up production of those for upcoming end of year holiday sales.
Therefore, regular LED TVs prices will drop. Older LCD TV prices will drop even further, and eventually stopped being produced.

If you still want LCDs, definitely prices will drop for those.
