I am using Samsung series 6 6400 LED 3D tv. Was a bit disappointed coz dont really feel that much "3D". Playing at normal was better. Not sure if this specially for PS3 3D TV would be any better. For me, i cant describe how good 3D TV is, you have to put the glasses on, see it to know it.

I would say it's good enough. If you run most PS3 games u will notice on the top left of your screen it says AAAXBBB @60hz. Most PS3 games runs on 60hz. So regardless if samsung TV is 100 or 400hz, it doesnt push your PS3 game play to that hz level. This was an honest answer i manage to get from the samsung staff. I tried standing btw an 100hz and 200HZ LED, took me a while to notice the slight difference. As for 400hz and above, well, I would say better spend ur money else where while waiting the price to drop. Its not worth going into that league atm unless u really cash rich

As for the 3D function, the 3D effect is only obvious if you play using a 3D engined game title. Like Batman Arkahm Asylum 3D, shadow of the collosus 3D etc. (which the 3D effect is stated on the game label) Attempt to convert a normal game into 3D (using samsung 6 series LED onwards) will not give you much 3D effects. And nowadays there arent much PS3 game title with 3D labeled effect yet, so i would say if your purpose is for PS3, a normal LED TV (non 3D) above 60HZ should be sufficient. Just sharing some personal experience. If anyone thinks otherwise, do share as I wouldnt mind learning more too.
