Late last month, my lawyer told me that I had to pay for the difference of the loan agreement fee, because the bank only pays 2% of the loan amount. I have made my payment by transferring directly to the lawyer's clients' account. I have faxed and emailed the transfer copy to the lawyer, and the lawyer has confirmed received. I told them to forward me an official receipt for that payment. They haven't do so, and the property transaction has now completed.
In my last email to them, I have also asked them again to send me the official receipt and any outstanding copies of documents that I ought to have. As usual, there is no respond from them.
My question is: is that payment receipt important? (In my opinion, it can be important because it is one of the expenses that I incurred in the purchase of the property, and in case in the future, I want to dispose the property, the amount can be deducted as a cost)

Trust me it is very important and keep it well.
