Guys,

My X360 elite crapped again for the 3rd time!! (3yr warranty is over)- including my first xbox before this unit (which crapped less than a yr after purchase)- this is the 4th time I got 3rod!. Anyways I'm planning to get an Arcade unit and xfer my HDD to it. The shop from which I plan to get the new unit can cut me a deal where they'll keep the controller and give me some discount (I have too many controllers already)- my question is if shit hits the fan yet again, when I send the unit back to MS sg will they be expecting everything in the box (manuals, controllers etc etc)? If so then it may not be a good idea not to take the controller. When my first xbox crapped I returned every single thing which was in the box.

thanks

IIRC you only need to send them the console itself only.

console itself and SGD150 if not mistaken if ur box warranty is over... 3 yrs i meant...

If your unit had a HDMI slot, your repair unit will certainly c/w Jasper board. Your SGD150 won't be wasted.

But if it's not c/w HDMI port, I bet they're using the old Opus board which based on Falcon w/o HDMI, which does not even worth a single penny......
