Hi, in the midst of building my house, just a question. Between normal astro and beyond, do i need to install a different cable from the dish to decoder, at present the in wall cable is for astro, heard about the need to use a different cable if want to get astro beyond.
Thanks

Nope, cable is the same type, but the installer will check your cable whether is still in good condition,
if the dB drop a lot then you might need to change new but same type of cable during upgrading to beyond.

smart cards are not interchangeable

they will collect back old astro decoder including dish, and replace with byond set for free, pay RM80 to retain old decoder set

byond set must use dish exclusively, however you can request LNB with 2 output to feed to your 2 decoders without interference

Boss, does tht mean if single output LNB, i wont be able to use both byond and max eventhough ihave 2 different SIM card? I have 2 different astro decoders at home, one byond and a normal sd decoder (2 saperate Smart cards). Currently i am using the cheap coax splitter to split the signal between the two decoders. Everything works well until i switch to HD channels. I wont be able to watch anything on the other decoder and the sat signal shows zero. Will signal booster help in this situation or i will need a different LNB for this? Many thanx
