Hi, I'm still a newbie in online shopping, so I want to hear you guys opinion on this.

I've bought some hardware from lyn seller before, they all come with their own box and are just wrapped with paper. But the boxes are safe enough to protect the item, though usually the edge already "kemek" when arrive sweat.gif

But what about hard disk? Since they dont have any box, and hard disk are sensitive to damage. How do seller usually wrap them, if I buy 1 hard disk only?

Thanks notworthy.gif

ask seller for clarification on wrapping purpose.
ask also if damages caused by postage is covered under personal warranty.

If you do not wish to go through the hassle, Lowyat is the best place for you to get one.

No "kemek", problems..

Unfortunately lowyat plaza is far away from where I live. The cost of tol and petrol will be 1/5 of the price of a 1.5 or 2 TB hard disk edi sweat.gif
Local shop here are small and don't carry much stuff, which is why i buy some hardware online lately

so far i hv bought few times (internal 3.5") , so far so good , the important thing is need to remind seller on the packaging, need to hv some form of protection (bubble, newspaper & etc as cushion)
