hi folks, just to share that the owner of the place i booked my baby called me just now informing that very soon my SA would be calling me to pass the car to me.....i enquired when exactly will that take place to which he said very soon and most probably next week onwards (jive with epo's SA statement)

so, looks like next week is the time to look out for huh guyz?....keep yourself free next week kei mate

Hi Guyz, just wanna share what i did today

Morning - Went to TTDI branch to get some idea/response on the exact delivery date of the 2.0....according to the BM, cars were supposed to be allocated last Monday but something (he's not sure what) happened that caused delay to next Monday....i doubt it la bro....he also said that for sure branches would be allocated first and only then dealers....shoot laaa coz i booked fr a dealer.....brengset

Evening - received a call from one of the SAs at a dealer i went to but never booked my car....went to see him a couple or more times to inquire on 2.0 but he said no news so far at that time.....told him i booked somewhere else but he said no problem coz customers choice....at 6.30pm today he called me saying 2.0 already at his showroom so PLS come and test drive not knowing that i had actually test drove the car at another dealer before....thot for a sec and said yes to him....reached his place and he welcomed me like his customer....oh maannn what a fella laaa.....he drove the car out of the showroom and subsequently we changed seats.....holly cow....he asked me to really tekan the car and make sure i feel how does the CBC feels like....i really tekan bros until the rpm was a little bit more to the red small lines and didnt dare to test the CBC that much...then he tole me to switch driver and let him show me the CBC....oh my goooddd....it was excellent la guyz.....after that, he asked me to test teh CBC by following what he did....i gladly obeyed....maaannn it was fantastic/fantabulous....to those who hasnt booked their car, u might want to try out this SA i.e Vintiya from Kepong Laman Rimbunan KIA Dealer.....i found him excellent....just imagine, he knew i didnt book from him but still called me for a test drive.....honestly, if i can reverse the time, i will book from him coz he knows alot about the car and will explain to you from A to Z on it....

then lepak at hailam kopitiam with him and talk about the 2.0....he said the latest he heard - we would get the car by mid April or May la guyz....apparently the issue with the customs hasnt resolved la he said.....

on the way back home, i texed my dealer i.e the owner and cc my SA asking when can i get my car and i dont mind getting any other colour shoud the colour i booked isnt available....to my surprise, he called me and said my car is already at his place but pending some documents to be cleared.....he said the documents shud be finalised by either next monday or tuesday and the car wud be mine then

honestly bros, i have a strong feeling that the documents he was referring to have got somethong to do with the customs la i think....all these while we only heard that it has been solved but what prove do we have that it has been solved right??....i could be wrong but i still would like to think that P is pressuring G to disallow the release of the 2.0....busuk hati betul laa

i also heard that the sonata would only be made available in June this year so too long a wait laa....dont like sylphy so what other car can i look for!!!....really2 fxxx the parties that caused this mess mannn

was in a meeting when received a call from my SA....didn't pick up coz high level mtg so texed him sarcastically when can i "collect my car"....he texed back saying "dah boleh register....bayar d/p harinie".....i texed back, today cannot coz got class after work so can only go first thing tmrw morning and asked if pay d/p tmrw and go register myself, when can drive home car?....he replied, right away....huhuhu....BOLE CAYA ke nie...

anyway, i booked in late Nov from a dealer and ya mine is 2.0....actually i saw my car (actual car) at the dealers place last Sunday coz the Boss said he fought real hard to secure a car for me (we are a distant relative in a way) and he said can get car by either Monday or Tuesday (yesterday) should all docs ok....till end of yest pon tarak ceta so i thot he pulled my leg laaa (not first time pulling too btw)

so, already applied leave now and to go see my SA tmrw and settle everything and lets see if i can actually drive back my baby.....will update tmrw on what's the outcome

in the meantime, maybe u guyz wanna chck with ur dealers too.....cant promise they hold stocks coz the dealer i booked from has 4 outlets and apparently one of the top dealers ard....God knows better

bros, how long does it take yaa to get the docs ready at d dealer's side and to get the car registered at JPJ? i know it probably depends on d dealers but a rough estimate wud also do the trick for me so that i cud gauge the amount of time needed to spend at the dealers.

TOO BAD I DIDN'T GET MY CAR....

Went to teh dealer this morning ard 1030am but the SA was still not in...called him and was told he wud reach in 5 mins...arrived, and both of us when to the other outlet since the outlet i booked didnt have the credit card device for d/payment purpose....reached the other outlet and met the BOSS....he came to me and said there's still problem with some documents wrt the 2nd batch of Fortes (i thought i was gonne get the 1st batch)....basically the 1st batch Fortes will carry chassis number starting with K whilst the 2nd batch P....i saw mine earlier at the outlet i booked and it was P so confirmed 2nd batch but what to do problem still persists

then i asked him so how now? he said he had arranged for the 1st batch to be allocated to me (he showed me the chassis no i.e starts with K) and said he is gonne send it for inspection (puspakom) if i heard him right and should be able to register tmrw once done with teh inspection....i requested to see the car but he said it was not there and some other place and a runner wud be doing the inspection....

i paid extra rm150 for the insoaction thingy and later swiped my card for the d/p....Honestly, i no longer look forward to receiving the car since lost interest already la guyz....if i do get tmrw then it wud be good la otherwise bila2 aja laaa

Basically i learned something from all these la bros, NAZA SXXXX BIG TIME.....Lets hope bro twtang gets his ride tmrw and we tumpang gembira forhim coz i totally wasted my leave today

im not sure la bro but i think the 2.0 cars were only allowed to be released to buyers on 25 or 26 of this month onwards....there could have been some sort of agreement or maybe arrangement between Naza and the customs or government to release in the later weeks of March to entitle for 2010 registration

btw, these cars released now are subject to puspakom inspection prior to registration....the above and this inspection before registration could be the culprits that resulted in us waiting for months

Thanks guyz.....was to bz driving the car that the mileage shot up to 200km aldy....when i got the car, it was 75km coz the runner drove fr Ampang to Wangsa Maju and back forth.....was at Wangsa Maju at 215pm for the inspection and later proceeded with registration.....my lousy SA brought the wrong chck for the roadtax that caused us to drive back to Ampang to recollect and went back for the roadtax.....crazy experience....finally drove back my baby by 5pm.....mannnn what a feeling

really waited long bros coz i booked on 30 November last year but still few days later than a few of u guyz i reckon for instance Izputra....not sure why HQ hasnt started releasing the cars yet laa coz one SA from TTDI told me that half of the 2.0s delivery were taken by them....crazy....not sure la true or not

hope the rest of u inclusing bro izputra can hold on a little longer.....pls2 dont loose hope kei coz honestly speaking its a fantabulous car....i tested drove the car and yet i can say it is superb....u guyz didnt so the experience wud be magnificient.....

all the best....oh yaa, i think i got the AP cert but not sure whether or not they r really the certs coz couldnt find the words AP oso on them....only saw the words customs forms bla2....but in the JPJ registration it is stated as Kenderaan Import Baru.....thank god

i think i got mine but i had to pay rm150 for the inspection....so i asked for the AP....

bro titanium, add me too 2.0sx titanium silver....last minute changed colour.....just got back from doing the car mat.....costed me RM130.....owner very friendly.....hes quoating V-Kool tint to me i.e V-Kool Elite 70 for RM15xx....anybody has any comment on the price i.e high or good? btw, i read somewhere that never2 go tinting at an accessory shop coz they r no expert....make sure go to a shop that only does tinting....and this shop only does tinting besides the floor mat i spoke off just now....he also showed me the Garmin 205W....mannn nice laa....selling to me for RM7XX.....mow lowe laa

bro iluvena: the RM150 i just didnt want to shout at them la bro....was afraid they might just further delay my delivery....i treated that as charity laa but good that i secured the AP....so win2 situation gak lee

your SA will fill-up the K1 form for u...in my case the dealer ran out of the form so we went to JPJ wangsa Maju and collected the K1 at the counter next to the mini post office.....the form is given out free and has to be filled-up in 2 copies.....details abt u, the car type, chassis no n engine no, make of the car and so on....once filled-up take a number and wait for ur turn.....make sure u or ur SA fill up the form first coz during my time, upon completing the form we took the number and was immediately called.....very fast coz not many ppl.....u might want to be nice with them if u know what i mean....this gomen ppl must suck up to them abit....we did n that was why we didnt have to pay anything for the expiry of my tendered no

and folks, my car number is WTK 2XXX (tendered on 1 Dec 2009 and got it on 7 Jan 2010).....so dont simply cukuk2 those ppl with WTK coz one of them at least is gonne be 2.0....

i got the ipod connector....but there was no cigarette lighter thou.....

rm80 = 580km is darn good....i poured rm90 yesterday and now left half tank and mileage done is only 230km......it was abt 10.9 to 11l/100km

i had hit 110km also....never give chance la guyz coz cannot tahan laa....nak tekan jeee

i noticed there's some sort of "yik yik" noise/sound on the driver's side when the car is moving....i dont think it's normal coz it bothers me....i tried shutting off the aircon coz someone mentioned that it could be the aircond but not cured

anyone knows what is that sound and how to get rid of it? Thanks guyz
