They ask me to pay downpayment saying car would be allocated on Monday. Yesterday bumped into the Branch Manager, say no news. This is really a joke. Why ask for money when you can't allocate a car?

The 2.0. The SA says latest by end of March but reading what Sugen has posted this is unlikely.

I called the Kia customer care just now. The story is now 5-6 months waiting. This is unbelievable from 3 months now they say 6 months. I then told her why collect money so early if you now say only in May? She say for registration. Then I ask her why register when there is no car? Then she says the branch may have allocate the car already which I doubt her statement. Anyway she will call the branch and get back to me later.

No doubt it is a good car worth waiting for but there is a limit to this. Do you want to finally marry your girlfriend when she only says yes to you at 70 years old? The other thing is keeping the car for 2 months at the yard is also not acceptable.

I also had to pay up front. I sold my waja already and taking part loan and had to forked out the money and pay them in blind faith to get the car allocated. Until today no news when can deliver the car.

At least you can go tell them to fly kite. I booked the car since 28th November.

I am suppose to pick up my car this afternoon at Rawang. I booked the car on 28th November for 2.0 Titanium Silver.

Just collected my 2.0 this afternoon from Rawang. Arrived there at 2.30 pm check the car less than 30 minutes and got stuck there for 2 hours beacuse of heavy rain. Saw a batch of new 2.0 in white just arrived by truck. My odometer reads 4km only which I think they must have turn off the trip meter as I don't think puspakom is that close.

Make sure you choose a day when the weather is good beacuse they don't have a proper place for you to check the car. There is only 1 covered bay in Rawang. The other thing is that they only pump 3 liters of petrol so don't leave the engine running too long. Petronas is at the bottom of the hill.

I am not much of a car expert but my brother who has test driven the New Honda City says that the 2.0 is way better than the Honda City (better refinement and power). So the bottom line is the car is worth every cent that you pay for. I did not find any blotches in the leather seat and they are very nice to seat in.

I did not ask for any freebies from my SA as he is a new guy just joined Naza but very helpful. He gave me a RM350 voucher for Raytech. Security tint is RM800 for the whole car.

I forgot to mention that now is a good time to book the 1.6sx as he says that car can be delivered within a week. I saw quite a number of forte waiting to be collected.

My booking was made on November 28 at the Taman Maluri Branch. They are progressively releasing the 2.0 and I was told that they started since Friday. I am not sure whether the info is correct but the tag on my keys says the car arrived in port Klang around 12th March 2010 and the vessel shipped was TS Jakarta. While I was there I only saw another EX delivered. By the way don't expect a 5 star delivery center with helpful staff. I had to ticked the checklist myself as my SA also quite blur.

I hope you get your car soon as i told them that someone in Lowyat forum who booked the car since 25th Nov at HQ still haven't gotten his car. I take it your downpayment has been made or maybe your colour is quite exclusive? I did see 3 units of white 2.0 today just delivered. The metal bronze and Titanium silver is available as I can see them parked at the shed.

If you are particular about the car make sure you go early in the afternoon to make sure you have enough time to check the car thoroughly.

Ps. No point in asking for 2.0 pictures as the car is exactly the same like 1.6sx. Nobody would know that your car is 2.0. The tyre pressure they set is still very high so you need to release some air.
