Bro..
I am using almost the same route.. Stay Tg Bungah. Use Jelutong Expressway and work at Bayan Lepas too.. During way back, very jam at Bayan Lepas factory area-- > Green land traffic is very heavy--> Tg Bungah.. Your car still new leh can get 11-13L/100KM is good.. Later like mine 24k.. then u will get 10.1L/100KM.. er.. u mean u want to buy Forte 2.0? er..

QUOTE(bbear @ Mar 31 2010, 11:24 AM)
Mine has only clock 6k, haven't even reach to do first service. ( my car's first service / oil change is 6 months or 10k km ). Driving normally with mix of heavy and light foot.. not too Jam as stayed next to Jelutong Expressway and work in Bayan Lepas ). That is why i wanna try Forte 2.0L to see how does that feel and hopefully see the instant mileage to compare with various FC vs driving method.

The problem of taobao is that.. They won't do oversea business.. No delivery to oversea..

QUOTE(yhlee12 @ Apr 2 2010, 08:54 AM)
for mud flaps, actually i'm trying to buy from china... from either one of these links:
http://item.taobao.com/auction/item_detail....jhtml?cm_cat=0
http://item.taobao.com/auction/item_detail....jhtml?cm_cat=0

i tried to buy from another seller once, but he doesn't have stock for forte so now trying these 2 links. if successful then maybe can order in bulk, benefit to future owners as well wink.gif

oh btw, price is about RM50 per set. won't exceed RM55 i guess.

YUP.. I can do that ! My Uncle has a offical in Guang Zhou. And he trade with CHN Goods.. I can arrange that.. Let me come back to you all later.. But, the price will not be RMB 55 like u see in the taobao.. It is because, we need to pay for shipping + gov tax.. It is quite a complex process where comes to customs declaration.. What is the product code etc.. And usually, we use CHN agent service.. Where they will "kao tim" all this and when the vessel arrive. We just collect the goods.. And also, have to use CASH to buy the goods only they will send to store and schedule for vessel..

well does anyone have a colleague in China office who could do a trial order and then send the package to KL when it arrives in their office? just a thought

oo.. Regarding this low mileage. I have something to share...

They can actually do this.. I remember during my down payment. A Gurun guy drive down a Rondo to this showroom in PG.. And when he park the car nicely into the show room.. U guess what he do? I see he open up the car bonet & access to the fuse box. Plug in a piece of fuse.. And close it up.. Guess what? This is the fuse for Odo.. Mean, he drive from Gurun to PG.. The ODO is not running... And i believe, the owner of this car will be happy if he see low mileage during the car collection..

YES Bro..
I strongly suggest Huper Optic... At first, i was considering Llumar vs Huper Optic... Llumar is cheaper then Huper.. And i am very satisfy with Huper Optic, guess what. Those who seated my car surely ask, what tint did i put on.. As, they feel the different.. As the result, 4 of my friend tint their Alza & Rondo on it...

The shop is located at Crystal point.. Same rows of KIA showroom...

Macalister Road.

Anyone has any good recommendation for tinting in PG??

hmn.. I am driving a Rondo.. So i can only give u a Rondo price serve as a guide line.... RM 1600- Huper Optic ceramic 40.. The color is nice.. like sun glasses color... One of my friend put on Infra Red on his Rondo. And he is very not satisfy as he has feel the different when riding on my car.. Guess what, he throw away the paper & put Huper Optic... Infra Red paper cost him RM 1200...

MY advice to you is that.. Don't go for house brand.. Insist on branded paper.. Example of House brand like "Air Cool", Infra Red and many others.. Go for Branded paper.. V-kool, Llumar, Huper Optic and others..

QUOTE(yvroomc @ Apr 6 2010, 09:40 AM)
How much does that cost? What's the recommended spec?

For the Spec, you can find it here..Share more on my paper surveying... I really did some hard work b4.. hihihi... Many papers actually will outburst the spec.. I collected many sample paper from Air cool, Llumar, etc.. And tested it at V-kool authorise dealer in Sg Pinang.. They use a 3M device, where u slot in the paper to the device.. It will read all the infor of the paper.. For your infor, air cool is the most overbust paper in spec claiming.. And V-kool & Huper.. The spec is 2% lover then what they claim.. Which is reasonable..
