by right merchant fee not borne by us. but u know la bolehland.
*
of course this is illegal........but many business do not want to accept cc, as the merchant fee eats into their profit margins..........some margins are razor thin.........

big sums like dp, which may be 10k or 15k, the merchant fee will come to rm200-300, which is a sizable sum..........

those doing tinting, you do know that if you don't meet jpj requirements (puspakom inspection is compulsory now for transfer of ownership of cars, and they are only interested in vlt), you will need to strip the tint in future......

i would make sure the tint comply with jpj, and the irr block is about 90%, to be worth while..........

Tinted glass may not block 100% UV light from sun... We feel hot when we jump into car during hot n direct sun exposure.. Air in the car are trap in.. When UV light shine in thru our car tinted glass..even 5% get thru is good enough to creat Green house effect.. So the longer u put car under direct sun light especially we are living in Equator belt.. Uv from sun penetrate maximun exactly in noon compare with northern n southern sphere country.. There is one way to block 100%.. Cover you window glass from out side with some reflective material..my be use the construction sisilation foil...(the one where u put on under ur house roof tile..)

you are confused between uv and ir radiations.........

uv caries little heat, so is not the wavelength that heats up your car.........and uv rays are easily blocked, even your normal laminated windscreen will block up to 99% of uv rays..........

heat is mostly carried by infra-red waves.........and that's the one that is difficult to block, as the wavelength is close to visible light, effective irr tints tend to also block visible light........and jpj wants minimum 70% vlt for the front wnidscreen.........

that is where technology comes in, to block 90% of irr while blocking less than 30% of vl.......and why the jpj compliant tints like v-kool are so expensive.........

No problemo...

FWS
VLT  : 73.2%
UVR : 99% std
IRR  : 94%
mil  : not sure (standard i guess)

SIDE
VLT  : 50%
UVR : 99%
IRR  : not sure
mil  : 4mil
at least the vlt is compliant with jpj.........next time you sell the car, should be no problem passing puspakom inspection........

refund how much?? 10% or 5%??

naza cannot actually force you to use their panel of insurance companies........they will say cannot, but if you stand your ground and threaten to report them to bnm, they will have to give way.........

the price you pay includes the insurance......so for people who can get their own (especially those staff of insurance companies, where they can get staff discounts), naza will have to refund the FULL amount of the insurance premium you paid them..........

oh.. but now my down payment oledi settled.. means insurance oso bought d lo.. izit?

if you have not registered the car, the insurance policy will not have been iisues yet, although you may have paid some money to naza...........if you wish to get your own insurance, then when you pay the final amount, just deduct the insurance premium part........

usually they do not want you to get your own insurance because they get a commission from their own insurance company........i usually tell them, just go negotiate with my insurance company/agent for a cut of the commission......and they are happy..........

if you already have the number of your car, then it already has been registered, and the insurance issued......so it is not an issue for you anymore, just wait for the car to be handed over........ smile.gif
