Hey bro, regarding the autofoam, u need not to book but for sure u need to wait (spend about 2 hours for installation). Quite a no of cars are waiting over there sweat.gif Call Desmond Chung (the boss). He is quite a friendly person. Btw, beware not to park illegally and remember to buy car ticket if u happen to park outside...the DBKL is very hardworking over there. Anyway, if u kena saman, no worries, Desmond will pay for u willingly  brows.gif

About the door rattling issue, try to tighten the screw. This mainly due to the window tinting installation. If the prob still persist, u can always go back to SC to add "3M" (type of glue absorber) between the door and the safety bar. But if u looking for extra comfort, maybe u can opt for sound insulation for the door ("roar killer package"). Ask Desmond, he will explain everthing to you once u get there... biggrin.gif

All the best...

I see. I don't see his number on the website though, just the landline number.
BTW, from their site it writes: Phone: 03-404299286 / 03-40449928...I think there's an error on the first number (9 digits)
Do you know what are their operating times? Also which day do they close?

QUOTE(vincentteng @ Mar 23 2010, 10:34 AM)
yaya...KFC, thanks for the correction...beware...you can listen but have ur own stand...
one thing...i have bought the pivot earth plug recommended by him...it's really working..
B4 installation, when I set the aircond to the fullness, I feel the car difficult to pick up and not smooth...
Once installed, the pick up and the flow is much better... should try
*
I'll ask about that and the alternator boost. Any issue with warranty if we do it, since it looks like it would be quite visible on the engine?

Thanks a lot for the info biggrin.gif

Hey folks, regarding the Autofoam, I'd like to know if you need to book a slot or not if going to KL Auto (for instance like Sierra Glow)? I'm staying in Penang so can only make one trip to hear about the packages and do installation....

ggeatweb,
I'm also from Pg & interested in KLAuto's soundproofing. You wanna drive down to KL together? smile.gif
Too bad, no place to stay. Bro KFC didn't offer me accomodation. sad.gif

called the careline........as usual, given the runaround again.........said not allocated.........and will be doen by 2nd week of April........refused to give queue number, and when asked about why people who booked later has already got their allocation, just say that it's the jop of the 'stock dept' to do that and they don't know why.........

then twisted to asked if 'full payment' made.........when pointed out nobody will give full payment without the car, said 'full payment' is balance between loan and full price........implied only people who have paid 'full' will be allocated early.......

p/s thay called back, and now said that i am only allocated 2nd batch, no.4 in queue........hmmmm.........sa promised 1st batch which is c*u........

just don't straight away start your engine ler..
push the start button twice without pressing the break.
once engine light goes off then only press brake + push button

Ya. I kept asking myself, whether i shud do that, or just press start the engine. I tried to look up the manual, it didn't advise to let the car ACC and on before press brake and start.

But all the other cars need to have 3 steps, which made me kinda uncomfortable press start straight. Which method you guys used to start engine any way?
