Start your study from now. And revision constantly 8 hours per day, exclude tuition and school time.
I strongly encourage TS to take 5 subjects, don't follow the trend of 4 subjects. Be the top 15 5flats scorers among 53K STPM candidates is much more better than the 200+ 4 flat scorers.

4 flat? hard? You result sucks. Don't even think about 4 flat. haha
You need more motivation from others.
Then only can study hard from now.
Just like myself. I didn't study for my History for PMR till 1 month before exam cuz my friend had finished the whole book. I scored A because of him. He insulted me and kept showing off when he had well prepared.

Another case is to create more interest in the subject you like. I scored A1 in Physics in SPM because I started to love it at the last 3 months before exam. Form 4 and Form 5, I got 30-55% only. WHo knows actual exam A1. No joke.. put more effort.

Look son, SPM is kindergarden level compared to stpm.
It's like spm= learning abc
straightly jump to
stpm=learning 500+ words of essay without learning the way to contructs sentence.
If you don't believe me you can take stpm as private candidate and see what's your result by not attending form 6 class(private and government school). You will know who's the real boss LOL~ History proved that many of the 4 flats scorers aint that great in their spm results. But who cares, the only important thing is 5 flats, Top 15 scorers.

But it's just a path to university, like other pre-u. The only benefit it will give to students is the first year of STPMer uni life is slightly easier than other students, after the first year, they will be the same level of difficult.
So form 6 is great, and not that great.
Great for self challenge, not that great in terms of process and entering local U.

actually 2.5 and above already qualify to enter local U. But if you want a secure place for competitive course (doctor, pharma, lawyer engineer and etc), better take 5.
let me tell u the reason why 5 is better than 4 subjects.
Coz each year there would be roughly 210+ students get 4 flats, and normally one local U accept the stpm students will not more than the total number of classmates in ur class now.

If such case happen, they will look on your MUET (assume that all of u get 4 flats), if MUET still same (for example, band 5~6), they filtered out band 5 one, and look at the band 6's koko. If koko still same, obviously 5 flats scorer will stand a better chance than 4 flats one.
Because if u get five flats, u only need to compete with other 14 ppl that have the same results as u. If u get 4 flats, u have to compete with 200 ppl. and so on.

Plus, the government U look on the pointer first, then only to subjects.
Needless to say they will give u a place first before they filter out some less competence 4 flatters.
Even if u screwed up ur fifth subjects, they will only focus on ur 4 best subjects to calculate ur pointer. Which means that if u failed one subjects, you still can get 4 flat, unlike others who took 4 subjects which is very bery risky.
After they filter out the pointer, the local U baru look on ur core subjects that will fulfill the criteria of the course u choose.

If u get matrik, please go ahead. Because matrik is almost 99% to get the course u want in local U, if u score 4 flat as well. 4 flat in matrik is easier to get compared to 4 flat in stpm, coz they're still using bell shape curve to change the grades according to average results. In stpm, u have to get atleast 75 marks in monthly exam to score A, and from what my teacher told me, the stpm standard for A is atleast 80. If u can get 80 marks and above for all subjects in trial then u are very likely to get 4flats in stpm.

And another good thing is that, government give matrik students to pick the course first, only after the course almost full (filled with matrik students), the very little space left for STPM 5 flats and 4 flats students to compete, matrik has advantage in entering local U and get the course u want, and shorter study duration too, but the bad thing is u will need to be extremely hardworking in first year la. Coz they study little knowledge only compared with STPM

owh, bumi stands higher chance to enter local U too, due to national policy.
