I somewhat examined their stuff last sunday. Suprisingly some of their clothes are cut more generously than Topman. No seriously, i thought the clothes were going to be for stick people. But it isn't. Then the fabrics are definitely high tech. High tech as in mainly most of the fabric is made of recycled stuff. Which definitely reflects in the prices. It is much lower than Topman. About Rm10-30 depending on what it is. The suiting jackets are pretty much standard Japanese look stuff. But the current facination with heavily textured suiting material is a hit and miss affair. The black velvet coat is very good looking. Hence there is only 1 left on the rack. Not surprising at RM299 its pretty good buy. Compared last year i saw the same thing at Marks & Spencer at RM799. And would be paying RM599 at Zara.

I did not really know whats the largest size there is there. Because most of the stuff are in Japanese cm sizes. Some looks like XL. But i did not try them on. Its kind of ridiculous of them to sell winter stuff here really. I do not think bushy sweaters and puffy jackets would be very apologetic to our body temperature. Much the same sentiments on those heavy wool suit jackets. The trilbys look good. But only 1 color. Is also cheap at RM49 compared to RM59 at Topman & RM79 at Zara.

So Uniqlo is cheaper compared to Topman & Zara. But depends on what u are looking for. I'm sure the same looking things can be had even lower at Romp and such kind of shops even though i don't shop at any of them. Hopefully they keep to their strategy and keep offering low prices and not bloat them over time live everyone does.
