Good point. I hope you're right.
I also hope more retail chains will come to Malaysia.
Sick of all the same shit.
I think you missed my point there lol
What I meant was you will soon see everyone on the streets wearing Uniqlo.

even so, uniqlo is always better than topman! tongue.gif

Sorry for asking this n00b question, once UNIQLO opens in November, what kind of its product to look out for?

T-shirt? Shirts? Pants? Jeans?
*
those that u have mentioned, but their jeans are really good quality and made in japan for those who are concerned of this. tongue.gif

Oh, people who know this brand and used it before would know how good it is....

It's not branded or anything, just that their items are value buys for their quality/design...

It's a Japanese brand, so firstly, all their items are design to fit our asian bodies properly unlike topmans (some of their jeans or shirts are too long) ===> nice fit

secondly, they've got nice printed tees based on animes/cartoons/mickey which is cheap as well.. around 10pounds or less in Uk, maybe Malaysia retail would be around rm60 i suppose.. I dont think you can get a Mickey T for that price in threepointsix

thirdly, jeans are really cheap for their quality/selections/fashion... in UK they're just 20pounds for basic ones, maybe Malaysia retailing it around rm120 i guess.. where can u find a good jeans for that price huh... Levi's = rm300.... u can buy 2+ uniqlo jeans...

the only bad thing is, after it hits malaysian shores, everyone will buy it and u will see everyone wearing it on the streets... which is a frustrating thing lol...

I dont get why some people have this kind of mentality. I thought sharing is caring?

nope
some people believe that what brand they wear is what differentiate them from the rest
if all wear some clothes all look the same
he/she wont feel that special/different anymore
simple analogy..student go to school all wear same clothes vs university student wear casual clothes which is diff from people to people
which one you prefer
*
i think the brand you wear represents your taste and your whole identity. of course, some might like certain brands because of the exclusivity it has because not available locally but seriously, i would be happier if someone knows to rock the brands i like because they have the same good taste like me. tongue.gif

and i dont think the theory where students wear the same uniform applies here. there is one thing called mix and match and there can never be same style even if we purchase stuffs from a same brand unless both of us really wear the same thing from top to toe.

I hope they're not like Zara. Shitty clothes at ridiculous prices.

i can assure u their quality is much better than zara. design wise? that would depend on individuals. tongue.gif

It's actually

You-ni-ku-lo

It's Japanese after all.
*
but u have to take into account that the pronunciation isnt meant for japanese only, it is more for all the people around the globe, so i guess the right way should be u-neek-glo?

Kind of, yes.
Unless you want to look like a tool who says "Mont BLANK" or "HER-mees/Herms".

Furthermore, somebody asked, so I provided an answer. Is that wrong? =S
*
chill guys, sharing is caring. on the other hand, how to pronounce mont blanc and hermes?
