Same here. Waiting for the opening here in Penang.

jonny4, thanks for the tip. You've mentioned that Uniqlo's slim chino is even lighter than MNG. Wow, that's pretty thin fabric, I imagine.

Does the Uniqlo slim, tapper more than the MNG chino ?

IINM, Uniqlo is only available in the Klang Valley at the moment, right?

Penang Branch will be opened in March at QB.

Overall, I think Uniqlo is a brand for the budget concious consumers who want a bit of quality.

Some designs border on hideous. Particularly the crew neck t with breton stripes. Very not lemaire.

LS shirt quite nice. But I like the shorts, 5-pocket in particular. No joggers ? Hmm .. disappointing.

The collarless LS with the tail ? Looks like someone going to the mosque. The polo shirt I wouldn't buy.

Oh, the camel henley I like.

uniqlo x lemaire just launched. Would appreciate anyone with advise on the sizes. The slip on shoe, for instance. If a size 8 UK, what should I select in cm. 26 or 27 ?

I wear M in supima cotton t, what should I select with lemaire tops. I looked at the size guide, should I size down, meaning S ?

Thanks.

definitely do not size down. went to the store bought a few pieces, most are kinda slim compared to normal uniqlo stuffs. size up if you want to get the lemaire aesthetics.

got the mesh sweater, the green military overshirt, boat sweater, stripey l/s shirt and the chinos.

Been waiting for reply. thanks, a big help for sure. Will get a henley T, boat sweater and maybe the shoes. One question,

You've got the boat sweater, how's the length. According to the size guide, they seem shorter than uniqlo main line.

Here's something I'd like to share whoever is interested.

The lemaire seersucker pants. I down size and ordered a size S ( 68-76cm ). My size supposed to be M ( 76-84cm ). Now, it takes a bit of effort to get it over the hips, once up, lo and behold, everything fits in nicely, the thigh, the incredible taper ( hem just 16cm, about 6.2in wide ). I probably think its the best-fitted pants I've ever bought from uniqlo. Well, other than the +J wool pants.

Yes, its pleated, added room around the hips and groin area, but doesn't look like dad's sloppy pants at all ( its a new trend these days, I know, but don't like it at all )

Overall, the pants even slimmer than the slim fit chino without looking silly. I know its Lemaire, its supposed to be extra wide and loose. But I don't embrace that. I just wanted a slim-fit pleated pants ( 1st time I ever bought one ).

The uniqlo main line pleated pants too wide for my taste. Same with many other labels. So ...

For those who are slim, and interested in a slim looking pleated pants, try and down size the Lemaire elasticated pants. If it fits, congrats.

I apologize for a long winded post. Cheers.

Bought the khaki blouson when it was RM199. Last one in M, as it was grayed out after the order. Worth it. If I had waited it any longer, it would have been out of stock. I returned the ice cream SS shirt. Just doesn't work. I looked like I'm in a hospital or something like that.

The military shirt is the same as the twill shirt. They're actually overshirt or shacket. Very useful and an alternative to a jacket. Made of slightly thicker material.

As far as I know, there's not a lot of demand here so if I were you, I'd wait for value buy. Unless you want it before christmas.
