Hmm...I don't think my feet is that small LOL. My feet size is around 9.

I think all my jeans last time was regular fit as I didn't really know how to pick and that's why it always touches the floor and besides my shoe will be stepping on it also (adds to the friction of my jeans onto the floor, makes it easier to rub against the ground).

And my waist size is 30 only (Not that fat right  biggrin.gif ). I hope all is good (don't scrub the floor again this time lol.) this time around. Hey btw thanks for all the effort replying to my questions jonny4! I really appreciate it man!

based on ur shoe size n waist size i can almost 99% guarantee u that ur jeans leg wont touch d floor or go under ur shoe. only thing u might not be used to is the bunching up of d jeans at d ankles due to the smaller leg opening. ppl call it "stacking" n some like the look. those expensive designer jeans like Dior Homme even come in inseam length of 38 inches just to create the stacking. UJ length is 34 inches.

if u dun like stacking u can roll d jeans up a few times. its kinda in style nowadays.

last resort u can go alter.

glad i could help man biggrin.gif

Bought a vintage chino flat front pants brown colour from Uniqlo for RM129.90 that day. Any comments about this particular item? As this is my first time buying pants from Uniqlo

a lot ppl fr styleforum rave about the vintage chino.

personally i like everything about the vintage chino except the cutting. i find it a little too baggy. i prefer the slim fit chino but the material n stitching seems not as good as the vintage chino.

the other school of thought is washing it b4 wearing gets rid of shrinkage, starch n excess dye. later 6 months down d road when u wash de fades will go higher due to shrinkage. of coz shrinkage aint much compared to selvedge denim.

brand new my pair's inseam was 34. after 1st wash (hand wash) it shrank to 33...den i didnt wash for a few months. last month i machine wash n the inseam shrank another inch to 32. luckily i didnt hem b4 dat.

u gotten any nice fades with ur UJ raw ?

my pair very hard to get any obvious fades...so far only some whiskering, some honey combs developing n back pocket wallet fade. dats about all. still got some shine too.

Some clarification regarding raw denim.
Your pair probably doesn't have any contrast fades due to the first wash. It isn't a school of thought like you said, just results. If you skip the first wash for say, 6 months then chances are you would probably get some nice fades and whiskering and such. That's just the nature of dry denim.
You could also wash before wearing, sure. However most times this causes the denim to wear more uniformly resulting in less contrast to your fades like what happened here. Of course, this might not happen. But consensus is that it's more or less bound to if washed before wear.
I'm no expert when it comes to dry denim, but here's my advice. On purchase, always do a pre-soak. Just throw it in a tub or something for an hour or 2 then dry. This will eliminate the starch and shrink your denim with very minimal dye loss. Results being, you get it slightly softer and a more accurate feel for the shrunken/actual size. Then just wear until it becomes too mucky to wear. Wash inside out with very little mild detergent on gentle cycle. Repeat until they fall apart.

Comments? Great.

I wear it at least thrice a week, I love the cutting (I'm not tall, so straight cut fits me), I love the design, I love the colour which goes well with anything.

Only trouble was, as I wear it too often, its very hard to keep away from dirt. Some people tends to 'touch' your pants using their shoes every now and then, and the prints are very hard to be washed off. So be careful on that.

The golden brown (36 Brown I think), but after a year or two it's becoming yellow.

I wear it with any coloured tee/polo/shirt, except yellow/brown since it will look dull...

i very nearly bought a pair of slim fit chinos today. had second thoughts coz the material n stitch was too thin. sked koyak when im out n about.

went to Dockers n got a pair of alpha khakis. material was much much thicker than Uniqlo n would be more durable. only drawback is its 100% cotton so it wont be as comfortable as Uniqlo slim fit chino.

lol same here, cept for me it was docker's tapered cut that sealed the deal
i think it was mentioned in GQ every man needs to own a khaki in their wardrobe and dockers label is synonymous for that

i think i read d same article.

IMO the Uniqlo Slim Fit Chino would be more suited to be worn with a button down shirt or a polo n a pair of leather shoes instead of sneakers n a t shirt.
