May I know which is the best outlet to look for men's stuff? There are a few shirts which no longer has my size so I'm thinking of trying my luck at the Farenheit branch. It seems like all the new and good stuffs are there?

Farenheit is your best bet, cos if you can't get it there at least there is KLCC nearby. tongue.gif

the UJ selection is pretty horrible nowadays. the skinny fits look like women jeans due to the washes available. slim fit is only a little better. i hope they bring in more colours n washes soon.

over the past month i bought quite a number of stuff fr Uniqlo.

overall the quality is alright but one thing i noticed is the sizing can be a little off sometimes.

i tried on a henley shirt. couldn't make up my mind if i want it or not. in d end i bought but not the same pair i tried on. i just went to the display shelf n took another one in d same size.

when i got home n tried it on again the shirt felt tighter n slimmer compared to the one i tried on.. i dun think i got fatter within 1-2 hrs LOL. i went bak to Uniqlo n complained...they agreed to let me exchange for another one. tried on a few n some were looser n some tighter. luckily managed to get one that suited me.

so next time u go Uniqlo n buy stuff try a few of d same item in d same size just to make sure.

pretty good quality for the price. i got a pair of the slim straight raw jeans (RM170). been wearing it regularly for close to 6 months. my pair is pretty tight so i din expect it to last. but so far no probs. it might be a diff story tho for those washed/faded designs.

i only wear mine during the weekends. if u planning to wear daily i dun think they will last very long as the denim is thin.

Once I bought a pima polo from GAP.
Took it home and washed it, and almost all the colour faded fffuuuuu

Fortunately I managed to exchange it for something else.
GAP pima polos. Never again.

I only like their basic tees and shirts.

I thought you're supposed to wear it for around 6 mths only then you wash it? I havent wash my raw uniqlos yet, bleeding aint that bad unless you use a white tissue to rub it.

Love the shiny and dark colour. wub.gif

the other school of thought is washing it b4 wearing gets rid of shrinkage, starch n excess dye. later 6 months down d road when u wash de fades will go higher due to shrinkage. of coz shrinkage aint much compared to selvedge denim.

brand new my pair's inseam was 34. after 1st wash (hand wash) it shrank to 33...den i didnt wash for a few months. last month i machine wash n the inseam shrank another inch to 32. luckily i didnt hem b4 dat.

u gotten any nice fades with ur UJ raw ?

my pair very hard to get any obvious fades...so far only some whiskering, some honey combs developing n back pocket wallet fade. dats about all. still got some shine too.

Raw jeans will feel somewhat like cardboard because of the starch and it will be completely indigo all over with zero fades.

And also, the label will usually tell you if it's raw. If it doesn't tell you, it's most probably not raw.

for RM50 i think they r decent.

but personally i din like them. its 100% cotton so unless u skinny u wont really get a slim fit. i had to size up 2 to size 34 n ended up the thigh/waist area being slim but the knees n below were baggy. i much prefer the RM 169.90 slim fit jeans coz they come with 2% elastane so more comfy.

Hey guys I've just bought a pair of black jeans from Uniqlo for the price of RM79 2 days ago after my some of my jeans are worned out at the bottom.

I wonder if the length of the jeans is too long should I cut it to make the length shorter? I'm afraid this problem will occur again. One of the shop keeper there told me that they don't provide the cutting service so if I want to get my jeans cut I need to find a private tailor.

Uniqlo provides free alteration service for items above RM50. u dun even have to get the alteration done straight away after buying the item. a few months down the road also they will provide free alteration as long as d items has not been altered in any way.

u washed the jeans yet ? coz there will be some shrinkage in length during 1st wash. i advice u to only alter the jeans after 1-2 washes.
