Hi i thought i might through in my rig to the build of things.

2. Intel i3-3220T LOW POWER Core i3 Processor, 2.8GHz, LGA1155, Dual Core, 4 Threads 3MB Cache, Integr
3. NVIDIAGeForce GTS450 GPU
4. ASRock / H77 / 2 x DDR3 / 1 x PCI-E3.0 x 16 / 4 x USB3.0 / 2 x SATA3 / HDMI / DVI-D / D-Sub / GBLAN
5. 4GB Ram
6. Slot in blu ray Rom
7. 120GB SSD
8. I went with 220w power supply as a precaution.

Running XMBCBuntu 12 with logitech mini Divino keyboard.

Works like a charm running HDMI to my Samsung Series 7 46inch 3D TV.
Plays 3D blu-ray movies seemles. i connected it to my 8TB NAS to stream my movies from and this is going through two switches to two levels of the house. with QoS setup.

Actually HDMI is pushed through my graphics card. My onkyo AV reciever just died so i will run optical cable to the new one later on.

All up it cost me $350 AUD dollars, it does 3D movies perfectly. I am PC Hardware reseller so that is my price i paid. rec retail would have been around $500

XBMC can play the iso however it is rather tricky to get going which can be found here. http://forum.stmlabs.com/showthread.php?tid=7623
AudioEngine as xbmc plugin can play your flac files along with youtube addin.
Now if you want to surf the net the linux version of XBMC will require you use a pluging called advanced launcher and create special files to get the browser to launch the specific websites.
the windows version of xbmc is much more easier to configure for web browsing.

what specifically do you want people share just curious i personally do not use it but maybe people would be able to help you more with more descriptive information.

hi qwerty the gpu that i have in it is a low profile GPU, with 3D support. the case came with a 220w power supply. I build a few of these for customers that want all around mame / 3D media pc.

I am in Australia so i don't know what where you are located. They sell for $700 AUD.

you would need to setup shares on the machine it self via ntfs permissions or use the admin shares, each machine will need to have either the same username and password or create the an account on the machine that you are connecting to that has the same username you are connecting from.
