anything mkv (or any other video for that matter) i relegated to xbmc. mainly because just about anything could be done using the remote.
and for bluray i use an integration of totalmedia theater 3 (for playback) and mediabrowser (for interface).

switching between xbmc and mediabrowser are done using a media centre plugin

last time i tried cannot, only play dd and dts

mkv with lossless needs to be played media player classic or windows media player or anything else that supports ffdshow codec.
bluray with lossless can be played with totalmedia theater 3 that supports full menu and bitstream.

Total include shipping is RM 1212.. Shouldn't have any problems with Kastam right since it's a pc. Looking for a media center pc for my new house.. Doubt i can assemble something like that within the budget since i don't have old parts lying around.
