Hi,
I having this stupid problem with my 3 months old Persona.
Once a week I will facing the starter problem. When I trying to turn my key to start the engine it just won't go fire... after 2-3 times I need to turn my key back to take out my key and start again...(then it work for this time)
It happen at morning, evening or even night time...
Is this minor? any persona owner facing this problem too ?

Getting Started

|
our persona key come with the immbolizer thing..
try swap to another key and test it.
recommend to use the 2 key alternatively. instead of use dead 1 only...

Its very prominent in iafm batch. Its not unable to start, its just harder to start thats all, just crank the engine longer. I suspect the lousy battery that proton supply. I had that problem too, changed to better battery and now not so much of a problem in starting.

can a persona driver verify again if Persona has immbolizer because the last i checked, when test driving the car, nothing of that such.
immobilizer -> send encoded signals to ECU so without a match engine will refuse to start even if starter motor cranks
immobilizer is NOT engine cut off by wire
Persona Lamae ? ada/tak ada Persona IAFM? ada/tak ada Persona CPS? ada/tak ada
