Lucas is in the line-up.

it's difficult for anyone as long as Fergie is in charge.. the gob has just far so much power and influence in referees, fixtures etc etc.

back to the match.. Lucas.. Yes Rafa. use your son more in matches like this. He will win games for you.

Masch was handling the midfield on his own and Lucas didn't help majorly. He was busy venturing forward. Here's a thing. If you want to use an attacking midfielder, why don't just use a better midfielder like Aquilani. Why Must Lucas????

It goes without saying that we looked much better when Babel came on. He has been our best player since last month or so. The kid and Aquilani deserve to start all other remaining matches.

I'm not saying he's a bad player at all. But when the whole team is fit, our midfield should be Masch-Aquilani-Gerrard. That's the right midfield. One to attack, one to tackle and one to pass. That's what made us so entertaining to watch last season.

This season we play even boring football than Stoke.

Lucas i agree. I don't know which sane liverpool fan would want to see him in first team week in week out. But Ngog is a good backup,
Insua is our weak point, but he is still young and was very good last season. He's just overplayed this season.
Riera offers good balance in left, and probably the only pure winger we have. But he behaved like a douche in the press and i believe we have seen the last of him at Anfield.
Maxi is still new and just bedding in. We saw against pompey what he can do when he plays with real good attacking players (Torres, Babel and Aquilani).
Kuyt.. Ok. He's really sloppy at times, but he has scored some vital goals for us. He's another victim of excessive match time this season. He needs a loooong rest.
