QUOTE(static @ May 11 2010, 12:16 PM) Btw do you guys turn off your mouse everytime you shutdown your desktop/laptop? My previous mouse (microsoft), the mouse has a slot underneath the mouse for the receiver, and when i slot in my receiver, it will turn off. Now i just bought a bluetooth mouse (Logitech V470), and there's the on/off button at the bottom? Everyday on and off, a bit ... weird. Can i just leave it like that? i'm using sidewinder x8, it has on/off button also, the first few times when i use it i on/off, after that quite lazy already, just leave it on even when i shutdown my pc, coz the mouse will either go into standby or turn off itself anyway. don't really see a big difference in battery life.

it works, but the lcd and light keeps blinking alerting you that there's no battery installed or no power. it's quite annoying after some time but if you can stand it then no problem and the mouse feels lighter too..

dunno about that, seems to me like there's no difference. didn't try it with gaming though, with the batt removed. there was once i was playing assassin's creed II with the x8 low on batt, still ok.

you misunderstood my statement there, while the mouse is off, it still charges, but you can't use it coz it doesn't move

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Jun 2 2010, 08:34 PM) lol, sorry, i humiliated myself. seems like i fail to read that sentence. LOL ahahahaha, i can't stop myself from laughing. Ahh, i see. at first i thought you're saying charging doesn't work when the switch is off, which i thought the on and off switch was actually stopping power reaching both battery and system itself. anyway, thanks for the info. lol...no worries man..take it easy you're most welcome..hehe
