if using canal headphone also cannot hear sound from surroundings, so is that noice cancelling too
*
No... some are specially made for noise cancelling, not the normal ones. For example Shure e2c, Senn cx300 and sony ex71s are nice noise cancelling canals.

There's one edifier speaker tool that would make the burn in fast. I think so... But my friend experienced the program makes the burn in with his edifier speaker spoiled, has some noise after that, thus I suggest you play music 24hrs/7days with slightly louder than your listening volume.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nominal_impedance
Is it same with impedance? Related with whether the phone is hard or easy to drive.

So is it,

Low nominal impedance = easy to drive
High nominal impedance = hard to drive

or the other way round ?  hmm.gif

That's what I understand too. I would like to add more; low impedance phone will do well in unamped but when you need to amp it, finding the suitable one will be quite choosy.

Yes, high impedence phones tend to sound weak without amps

it would be the behringer HPM1000 which is less than rm100.

do u think that would be good enough for now, or should i save abit more money n get a better ones?

Just curious, what's the lifespan of a normal headphone and earphone? How long can we normally use them until it gives up?

P/S: 320kbps vs 256kbps(VBR) which has btr quality?
*
Depending on the usage la, some of them last more than 5 years and it is still kicking.

It very dependent on usage. Razer are meant for gaming. If you dont play so much games it is wise not to get it.
