Noise cancelling and noise isolating are different things just so you know.

Noise cancelling headphones are headphones that produces a "antinoise" soundwave in response to outside noise. One famous pair of headphones that ultilises this noise cancelling technology is the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 (Bose QC2).

Noise isolating are what we are familiar with, with the likes of Shure ES530 and Etymotic ER-4
