need some help here.....

is it possible to fix?
SHURE SE530
1. cable loose on left channel
2. cracking sound on left channel only

is there anyway or anyone who can help?

SE530's cable is look weird. I am always apply olive oil or baby oil to protect the cable.

You can see the cable. I'm afraid the cable will break soon. The only thing I can do is apply olive oil on the cable.

umm, guys, one question... i know that recabling headphones will improve the sound quality in certain aspects. but what if i only change the 3.5mm minijack plug? it's just that i like the looks of the Canare F12 plug, so wanna change the plug only without recabling. Will the SQ improve or just the same? sweat.gif

there is actually no better or worse. it all depends on your preference.

in general(i emphasize "in general")... closed cans have better bass, narrower soundstage and opened cans have wider soundstage but lesser bass.

Hey guys,

How do you rectify the flaws of a source? e.g. a phone.

Since I have only my phone as my portable DAP, I need to get rid of all the common problems like hissing..electrostatic disturbances by Wifi card/GPS chip..etc.

Thanks!

Hi, i dont know if this is the right place to ask or not,

but.. What is that device that you plug into your car 'cigarette lighter' port that can broadcast its own frequency?

The thing that you can put in your usb or mp3 output, and it will transmit to your radio reciever.

what is it called? and where to buy a good one?

Thanks!

Yea, it does, otherwise what the producer wants you to hear on the left will end up on ur right and vice versa xD

I think this FAQ does miss out this fact.
I had been using headphone for many years, sometime hours while working.
I started to have little of hearing loss. So becareful with your ear if you love listening.

Now I have break more often while listening to headphone and usually keep the volume moderate. And now I bought hifi so I no need to listening headphone all the time.

Listening to loud speaker is less damaging compare to headphone.
Just take good care of yourself. There is so many audiophile that need audio aid to listen.
