 which suitable HTPC casing?, HTPC gurus come in pls

HTPC GURUS, is there any HTPC casing recommendations for gaming?coz reason i wanna change to a HORIZONTAL casing, is coz wanna put in a rack, together with Amplifier, PS3 on top, so will save lots of space, example of the rack user posted image
coz my current PC is much for gaming, and i see lots of htpc casing are more for motherboard with built-in display n audio adapter, but i wish to remain my 8800GT , any brands ?below are my current setup

u forgot to put in the most inportant info.... ur budget.

also measurements of the space of the rack would be a good idea.


anyway...id recommend the CM Elite 360

can fit ur stuff...and can be used as horizontal or vertical orientation...

CM Elite 360

can fit atx mobo, atx sized psu, and can fit 8800GT without a problem

there is tons of option for desktop/htpc options and can fix atx mobo & graphic card. if can add more budget, there is even more... try surf Modernopc.com then contact bro modernopc here also can.

V351 only supports m-ATX mobo....

and for that one u should go to ATE on the 2nd floor

check lian li league thread for more

n as far as i remember moderno doesnt carry lian li cases.

i just bought the last sliver one from ate... heard that another black one is coming that afternoon... if that sold... had to buy form karom or cex...
ate is not bring in more lian li case already

btw... the new one build quality is poor compare to older lian li case... just picky tongue.gif

buying from karom aint too bad la...coz he used to get it direct from Lian Li only thing is postage if ur not in penang.

buying from cex might be another issue though....coz if he got it from the new local lian li distributor...it might end up being expensive...

suggest getting quotes from both parties and compare.

elite 360 also not bad, cheapo somemore..... but for me, it looks too "tidy and clean" u know..... i like "rough" casing..... tongue.gif
