Stretch or zoom option right now dont give any problem to HD channels.

Better stuck than new update.

Someone say their decoder still update automatically although it not switch to standby mode. Maybe it matter of time.
Its astro style to push their customer to follow their scrap rule.

Maybe u miss understand here. Actually we are here discuss about SD/Non-HD channel on byond and that what we paid every month. If u think we are not billed for byond than u are totally wrong.

Yes i know we not paying anything yet for HD channel, that why we not comment anything about HD here.

We disscuss about stretch mode that we want back because it has be taking off by astro. Stretch mode is only affect on SD/Non-HD channel.

Yeah maybe ur right. But u should know not all people are same. Each one of us has own perspective. Some like black and some like white.
Same here as paying astro subcriber, i think we have right to choose our convience way to watch as long as we happy with that.

So I think look weird it not a issue to here. Like me, sometime I switch to pillar box when I not happy with the picture and mostly I convience watch in stretch mode.

If astro want us strictly to watch the correct way I think they should remove zoom option at the first place. No more option to select aspect ratio right?

So that is convenience way to you. But not to others. I think not fair to force someone to choose something (pillar box, zoom, stretch) they not happy/convenience to watched.
