QUOTE(lightastral @ Mar 13 2010, 09:51 PM) correct me if i am wrong.. as of today, astro has yet to charge us on astro b.yond. and if you ve been using from jan, that means 3 month of free byond... we are still not paying the extra rm20 yet... so rather that you guys hentam or kasi cukup cukup or complain or marah or kasi ajar, it s better to be polite coz firstly its good manners and secondly you have not paid a single cent yet to them..lets be fair. come april, first bill and if there are still issue to be resolved...its your money and your voice...open table mates... until then, lets be fair. I lol @ your lack of grasp on the current situation

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Mar 14 2010, 09:12 PM) I still don't understand what is the problem with B.Yond. There should be a stretch mode because SD will look weird. SD is not meant to be watched in stretched mode. I think you all complain wrongly. Astro is showing you guys how to watch SD in correct way. Hope you all understand. Showing or shoving down their throats? These astro subscribers are paying astro good money, if they are not satisfied, they can rant and get angry as much as they can

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Mar 14 2010, 09:47 PM) not zoom mode. We should watch in pillar box mode. weird la. You're watching it not the way it is meant to be watched... No la. Really one. Movie/show should be watched the way it meant to be watched. Well for some, their own TV upscaling mode is better than the others whereby they can watch stretched mode without getting "fat people" version. But it's all a matter of preferences tbh.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Mar 14 2010, 10:41 PM) How can a stretching mode happened without getting fat people? you don't know what you're talking about bro. stretch = fat = stretch. My 7 series samsung does a better upscaling than my older hdtv and both the tv does show some differences when the stretch option is on. When it fills up the whole panel with the stretch option on, the built-in dvb-tuner on the 7 series does a great job to enhance the picture quality, making it less "fatter". Like I said, it's all a matter of preferences.

Good news, from the quote posted above and posted on astro's FB notes, astro will give back to its customer the "fit to screen" or the "stretched" option by the end of this week. Enjoice~
