Well, I heard that you can still revert back your phone to the original settings in order to claim the warranty but you have to do a neat job so that they won't detect anything peculiar.

Btw, is there any free pdf reader around?It is so frustrating to pay for something you can actually get it free in pc. Not that I want to edit or create one, just need to view it will do. I heard of a way to convert the pdf to sis/sisx files but I wonder if it is reliable.

u have to flash your phone either using JAF or Phoenix software..u have to have guts to do it...i bricked my phone twice already trying different CFW..even my warranty still have 5 months left read this to have some ideas

yes..it's the same concept..just download thge CFW file and replace the file

inside C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-505

RM505_507_21.0.045_uda_10_001.uda.fpsx
RM-505_21.0.045_prd.rofs2.V19

this is the CFW file u wanna try:

RM-505_21.0.045_C01_prd.rofs3.fpsx
RM-505_21.0.045_prd.rofs2.V03

so the next step is rename the CFW files same like the original file and overwrite inside C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-505

RM-505_21.0.045_C01_prd.rofs3.fpsx rename to RM505_507_21.0.045_uda_10_001.uda.fpsx
RM-505_21.0.045_prd.rofs2.V03 rename to RM-505_21.0.045_prd.rofs2.V19

next step is flash it using JAF or Phoenix
