 GTX280, How much celcius??

my card is galaxy gtx280.. while running start from 65-72 celcius in cm cosmos 1000,,,, is it normal temperature?...is it too hot?..

Pls let me know ur load temp?
I know GTX280 is load temp up to 100c one, then ur GTX280 is first batch defective item.

is it a new card or bought 2nd hand?

maybe got dust inside if 2nd hand. cooler spoiled maybe?

second one..but now nothing happen while play games..i just wondering start from using cosmos 1000..coz inside less fan can put...so then got sponge at da both of side panel...

futuremark? do u mean 3dmark? well if you really want to see how hot your gtx280 could go, can try this http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ but keep in mind, if you let it stress until overheat, then your card might get burnt.

anyway if you can game for hours without problem, then no worries, the card can withstand up to 100'c.

if sometime ok sometime not then it MIGHT be the fan. like my old satria, radiator fan sometime works sometime not. so car also sometime overheat sometime not tongue.gif

Bro, the idle temp is okay considering your room temp is without any air conditioning. The ideal idle temp for me would be around 55'c though. The problem is the load temp, if it reaches like 95-100'c then that will be considered real hot. But the card can handle that temp, just that basically if it always running hot, the lifespan of the card will be reduced.
