Hi,
thanks for the reply.
My Pioneer is XV-DV262.
just read the manual, it seems like no optical port for this HT, sad...
Any hack or modification I can do?

To convert digital optical signal to analog stereo signal which support by my pioneer i need this,
"SPDIF Digital to Analogue Stereo Audio Converter"
http://www.lindy.co.uk/spdif-digital-to-an...rter/70408.htmlEven with this converter I can't play 5.1 through my pioneer also cause it already degraded to stereo only.
The cost... too expensive :|
So conclusion I would rather upgrade my HT system.
-.-"
bro u have same issue as mine last time . end up i need to buy AVR. i bought Htz280.

Okay...
But I don think I can sell it for even 500 right? Can I?
If I go for the same option as yours, do you have any recommendation for budget around 500?
Thanks.
u still can maintain ur old speaker. some avr can drive ur 4ohm speaker.
just the subwoofer is customs build for the htib.
ur DVD/amp doesnt have any input in other than stereo red and white.
