got myself a suit which surprisingly fitted me like a glove from G2000. Since this is my first suit, have a few things that i might need to ask about. from the pic below, you can see that theres a 'vent' or gap on both sides of the rear end. at the moment it is sewn together lightly by a piece of thread. should i break this thread or leave it as it is? sorry for the bad2 quality of pic... QUOTE(deriku @ Feb 6 2012, 06:03 PM) QUOTE(MeToo @ Feb 6 2012, 06:19 PM) Ohh.... workmanship for a shirt? Er.. my tailro charges RM200~... inclusive of MOP buttons and collar bone. If u are using their material.. then extra 50~150RM depending on material... ofcourse if you go for really expensive mat it can go upto 1K (like linen shirt from Granoff in Gardens). Added on February 6, 2012, 6:20 pm+1 without a doubt thanks guys, which leads to the next question, will or will it not go well with a dark colored plain jeans for a casual company dinner with no dress code..dont wanna look like a kid who cant make up his mind..was initially planning to go with the jeans, a pair of dress shoes and a fitting tshirt inside. But if im feeling unconfident with the look, i might actually opt for the dress shirt and full suit look which if possible, i would like to avoid due to it being too formal for the event.. QUOTE(adkins981 @ Feb 6 2012, 10:15 PM) Added on February 6, 2012, 10:18 pmIn my opinion i would go with a fitting long sleeve shirt and a tie with black slacks but since u ald bought ur suit, u might as well go with a full suit and if ur feeling it to be too formal, lose the tie. Besides that, since ur suit is black, i would personally opt for a black or very dark brown dress shoe.. I guess ill jz go in full suit then..with a shirt inside..so that leaves me with a proper dress shoes to wear..need to mix and match and see what works..getting a bit frustraing already with alot of diffrrent websites saying different things.. QUOTE(Cheenoo @ Feb 6 2012, 10:35 PM) Don't wear a T shirt inside. At least a shirt. A more casual choice would be an oxford shirt. And jeans imo should be lighter in colour so there is some contrast with the jacket. Not that dark jeans won't work, just the safer choice. Will a shirt tucked into jeans look work with a suit?i was wondering if i were to wear a shirt, then ill consider wearing a full suit without the tie. But if i wear a tshirt inside, then ill go with the jeans..still confused at the moment..
