I'm planning to get just the shirt. I came across a burberry shirt in 1 of the store and the design was to my liking but the it has a price tag of over RM1k so I'm wondering if a tailor could bespoke a shirt similar to it and I'm sure it would be at a much lower cost?

QUOTE(MeToo @ Feb 6 2012, 07:19 PM) Ohh.... workmanship for a shirt? Er.. my tailro charges RM200~... inclusive of MOP buttons and collar bone. Where is ur tailor located? I'm planning to go to bespoked at 1utama to have it check out and get a quotation from them. What do u think about the tailor at bespoked and how does it stand with ur tailor? Besides that wat is the difference between the linen shirt from Granof with the rest?If u are using their material.. then extra 50~150RM depending on material... ofcourse if you go for really expensive mat it can go upto 1K (like linen shirt from Granoff in Gardens). Added on February 6, 2012, 6:20 pm +1 without a doubt Added on February 6, 2012, 10:18 pm QUOTE(aztechx @ Feb 6 2012, 08:28 PM) thanks guys, In my opinion i would go with a fitting long sleeve shirt and a tie with black slacks but since u ald bought ur suit, u might as well go with a full suit and if ur feeling it to be too formal, lose the tie. Besides that, since ur suit is black, i would personally opt for a black or very dark brown dress shoe.. which leads to the next question, will or will it not go well with a dark colored plain jeans for a casual company dinner with no dress code..dont wanna look like a kid who cant make up his mind..was initially planning to go with the jeans, a pair of dress shoes and a fitting tshirt inside. But if im feeling unconfident with the look, i might actually opt for the dress shirt and full suit look which if possible, i would like to avoid due to it being too formal for the event.. QUOTE(MeToo @ Mar 21 2012, 12:05 PM) Its too blurry cant really see the details. why do u advice not to button the second button??1. Sleeve length seems uneven, cant see if its the way you are bending your body. 2. Do NOT button the 2nd button PLS. Remove it and retake a clearer pic. 3. Like Deriku commented, this is a sack cut, who is the tailor? Take a few more pic. With your hands straigt out to the side. Also some side pics. Clearer ones pls. Also, who is your tailor... the fit is pretty dismal.. |
