How can I Dry Clean my wool jacket? How often can I dry clean? When do I need Dry cleaning? Can I just hang it in a well ventilated area to eliminate odors caused by light smoke or food? Do I need to dry clean to eliminate odors?

In overseas they have hot showers booths. What they do is run the hot shower in highest setting and heat up the booth. Then hang the suit inside the shower. Water turned off of course! Let the steam and heat release the wrinkle and smell. I think everyone have seen clothes steamer right? That one does the same thing. But its expensive. Or you can find iron that can iron upright with steam function.

It won't change the jacket shape?

It will go out of shape if you use those pull to even out crease method like they do in those demos. Basically u need to steam the suit jacket on the hanger horizontally and not pull it. Or steam it flat on ironing board. It should not deform or go out of shape badly. Not like u soak it in Woolite and dry it on hanger (This one do not do it. It pulls the lining way over the shell).

I found this picture of someones wardrobe. Woohhh...... so colorful.

Would appreciate if you guys can give your honest comments about this RTW suits by Padini that I casually tried on while waiting for wifey. To me, the suits was a little tight as you can see from the button point and the jacket length was also slightly short.

Linen is traditionally worn as a summer outfit for a casual setting. In terms of formality wool is still the choice. So other than considering the suitability of a fabric for tropical climate you also have to decide for what occasions it will be worn.

Bare in mind linen have shorter lifespan.

What he is trying to say is, black is to common. Yes granted it is pretty easy to match with everything. But i mean you can't tell a penguin from another right? Is not like u should get chili red suit and all. But if dark suit, you could opt for dark navy or dark grey. Not necessary black. But having black suit could easily gain you entrance to any place as its almost like Visa. hahaha. But if u wanna stand out just a little, either dark grey or deep navy could be a better choice.

Charcoal grey should be fine.

Added on November 6, 2012, 7:15 pmGoing to town visiting a tailor. Asking for a nice blue white (small) hounds tooth cotton fabric. Set me 2k just for a jacket. Sports jacket. I wonder if it's MTM or bespoke
