Interesting I've read through the pinned thread and it seems that 3.5m should be sufficient for somebody with the height below 6', how would you define thin? or 4m would be the best bet? Put aside the length from my reading its also highlighted that most likely we average dudes would not be able to pick the appropriate fabric by "touching" them...

would definitely appreciate more input...

4.0M makes me a 3 piece, i'm a tad below 6'

so 3.5m should be good enuf for a 2 piece.

As for touching them, get a few ideas of what you want, say if u like a 40 mohair/60 wworsted, go to a tailor and ask to see some material.. find soemthing similar.. rub it all over your body see how u feel...

beside howard maybe can try to see this seller in ebay

his picture resolution is much better than howard and he can send more pictures of the cloth if you wish

Oh have to make a mention...

Howard's really bad with his photography skills.. his fabric pics colour tend to be way brighter then the actual material is... so you look at the pics... imagine it to be 2 shades darker.. should be about right

Royal textiles is 100% better than Howard. I have experienced buying from these 2 companies; Howard sold me a same fabric which in the photo looks like other colours.  mad.gif

Its not his fault... he's just bad at photography...

His fabric is about 2 shades lighter due to the use of flash....

Hello there,

I'm getting myself a suit for my university event. I think it is a good time for me to invest in a nice suit. I've already try Padini suit, S size and I think it suit me quite perfectly. So, here's the picture and is it good?

sorry for the img quality.

U need to put atleast 1 hand straight down to check the sleeve length.

Then a sideways photo for sleeve rotation etc.

And the entire chest/wasit view of the suit is way too dark.... also dont button the bottom button...

But... for the price.. Padini suit is decent... get those with workign cuffs

is it possible to buy a suit in any store such as Padini, Zara or G2000 and then ask tailor to do some alteration?
*
Be very careful which part of the suit can be altered and which cant...

For eg, if u wanna alter the sleeve lenght, u better buy something with no working buttons..

Was thinking of that, or either spark manshop + ther are 2-3 other tailors there. Also another at BSC..my question is, would it all come up to above 4 figures?

I have no clue on this!

Thanks! biggrin.gif

when i read u got a black super 180s.. i groaned...

150s aint much better.... but better then the previosu for sure... and blue is definitely better then black haha

As for ah loke knowing what you wanted... i think too many people read this forum and went asking for the same thing.

I did my wedding suit there as well... wasnt too impressed, now I use other tailors and is much happier with the result.

Do post a pic of the suit when u get
