Hdpro been selling ~900unit since 2009 Dec.

don't see any big problem, sometimes software bug etc.. still under control.

Anybody using the V8 1283+ model with 5.1analog out? Tried with your 5.1 analogy speakers? Happy with the quality?

i faced problem when i tried to copy some files from my computer to hdpro+ as sometimes some of the copied file will not finish the movies and stop 5 minutes earlier.

eg, i copy a file which will last at 45mins, and on 40mins, the player will stop it, i tried to use goto from the remote and the player cannot read all the files after 40mins, after i deleted the files and recopied it again from my PC its works.

It's a random case and not all files copied have this problem. It happen like after 5 files copied, as from my TVB series, epi5, 10 15 sure have this type of problem.

Added on May 11, 2011, 11:54 amthe most weird case is, yesterday i tried to open 2 files, which shows "invalid file" and i never delete the file and recopied it from my PC, then tried to open again, the 2 files which previously written "invalid file" can be open suddenly!!

maybe you should check ur internal harddisk for bad sectors.

how to check it using hdpro? any command?

i am thinking not dismantle it from hdpro+.

what brand hdd? WD green?
did your hdd format in player first time?

i'm also hv the same with u yesterday night, after copy few movie from pen drive to hdpro den the file can not finish play...last 10min it stop already, n can not use goto....the time i copy file the player stop respone, n i restart the player....after restart the file already inside the player, i think is the file was not complete copy from pen drive

March 2011 firmware??

I tested before on (Dec 2010 ver.) ,copy file should not peoblem.

i am copying the file directly from PC to hdpro+ using LAN, hence i cannot see the player is responding or not, but definitely the files is 100% transfer over to hdpro. The player will only stop responding, meaning my PC cannot copy the file over to hdpro+ when i copy files to different folders in hdpro+. So what I did now is to copy all the files to 1 particular folder in 1 shoot.

it's seem that march 2011 firmware is having this copy problem. I dont faced this problem on 29 dec 2010 firmware.. i can copy more than 10 files in 1 shoot to a folders in hdpro+ and never get this type of problem, this problem comes only when it's upgraded to march 2011 ver. Gonna downgrade it and reconfirm.

What is the latest firmware for HDpro mini +? The one with aluminium casing with 1073C+ chipset.

what is your current firmware version? (goto ->setup -> system ->syteminfo)check
